Mr Sime

Class 2 have begun our new topic on the Great Fire of London. We have started by reading a fictional book called ‘Toby and the Great Fire of London’ by Margaret Nash and Jane Cope. We have read it a couple of times and have looked at the story mountain to show how the beginning, middle and end build the story into an exciting climax to the problem in the story plot before solving the problem and ending the story. See if the children remember any of the story already before we have a go at writing our own version. New spelling scheme started this week too. All the children have the latest spellings. What wonderful writers we will be!
