In Class 6 we are learning how to write persuasion texts. Each pupil has chosen something they feel passionate about banning e.g. guns, smoking, hunting etc. They have had to research facts and statistics to in order to support their view. Today, in groups, they were practising their oracy skills using the balloon debate. Each group were travelling in a hot air balloon and had to decide which one to get rid of, in order to keep the balloon up in the air, using the powers of persuasion!
