Blackbrook's Got Talent! 2024

Read all about our annual talent show!

Mr Dunningham

Simon Cowell needn't search all over Britain for talent... We have found it in abundance at Blackbrook Primary School!

In the build up to the grand final on Friday afternoon, each class held auditions individually to find the one act that would represent their class. Votes were then independently counted and verified and then, as they say on Eurovision, we were 'good to go!'

The grand final saw an amazing variety of talent from singing, gymnastics, comedy, juggling and even hula-hooping. No expense was spared at sourcing the finest judges in the land, with three experts giving their opinions after each act. It was simply a coincidence that they looked quite a bit like Mrs Rendell, Mr Crawley and Miss Sillett!

The running order was as follows:

Class 6- Chloe, Esme, Florence, Oliwier and Kamil- Comedy

Class F- Ruby- Singing

Class 5- Beau, Jessica and Amelia- Gymnastics

Class 1- Eva

Class 4- Thomas- Juggling

Class 1/ 2- Felix- Singing

Class 3- Lily- Hula Hooping

Class 2- Ellen- Singing

The audience of some 250 people were left spell bound with the talent on show and adored and supported each and every act fantastically. When the judges left the hall to make their decision, no one quite knew what choice they would come to, with any one of the acts being a worthy winner. On their return, a pin drop could have been heard with every member of the audience waiting with bated breath. Time stood still.

"The winner of Blackbrook's Got Talent 2024 is... Beau, Jessica and Amelia with their gymnastics!" The crowd erupted and the girls roared with happiness. History had been made and their journey to stardom is well on the way.

Congratulations to every single person who year's Blackbrook's Got Talent and the build up, anticipation and practising for next year's show is rumoured to already have begun!
