Class 3 has been diving deep into the world of whales through the wonderful books "This Morning I Met a Whale" by Michael Morpurgo and "Big Blue Whale" by Nicola Davies. Their curiosity about these magnificent creatures has been growing, and recently, they had the exciting opportunity to send letters to a whale expert to learn even more.

Mrs. Rowden sent the students' questions to Dr. Tom from Whale Wise, a marine mammal conservation charity. To our excitement, this week, we received a response from Dr. Tom, who is currently in Iceland studying humpback whales. He took the time to answer each child's questions in great detail through a video message, which we all loved watching.

Class 3 are well on their way to becoming whale experts, and we can’t wait to continue exploring the wonders of the ocean together!
