Class 3 have been diving into the exciting world of shapes over the last couple of weeks. We have been exploring right angles, rotations, and the properties of various polygons. The students have been working hard to enhance their shape knowledge and are improving their ruler skills to draw accurate shapes.  It’s wonderful to see their enthusiasm and precision as they learn how to identify and create different geometric figures.

We have also been very impressed with the children’s recent English work.  They have been writing setting and character descriptions based on our current book ‘Ocean Meets Sky’.  Using expanded noun phrases and similes, they have painted the most beautiful pictures with their words.
