Miss Bowles

We have been very busy exploring dinosaurs and fossils. We had a go at making our own ammonites using salt dough. We have since painted them and they look very pretty. They will be coming home soon. We have talked about the fact that lots of fossils have been found in Lyme Regis and that Mary Anning was a famous fossil hunter many years ago. For the past week or so we have been talking about Earth being one of the planets in our solar system and have started talking a little about stars too. We have also been talking about Chinese New Year too and have learnt a simple Chinese New Year celebration dance.
